Ascent
An iOS app for individuals who want to embrace their call to holiness — one virtue, one prayer, one choice at a time.
What Ascent Is
Ascent is not a meditation app. It's not a habit tracker. It's a companion for the spiritual journey — one that takes seriously the ancient wisdom of the Church and makes it accessible for daily life.
The app weaves together four core threads: virtue formation, daily prayer, the Beatitudes, and a deliberate rejection of the seven deadly sins. Each thread is a lens on the same journey: the ongoing, daily work of becoming who God created you to be.
Ascent is for people who feel the pull toward something deeper — who want their faith to be more than a Sunday obligation and are ready to pursue a life that reflects it.
How It Works
The classical virtues — prudence, justice, fortitude, temperance — are not abstract concepts. Ascent helps you understand them, track your growth in them, and apply them to the specific circumstances of your life. Virtue is the architecture of a holy life. Ascent makes it concrete.
A prayer life isn't built in a moment. Ascent creates structure, rhythm, and intention around daily prayer — helping you show up consistently and grow in the depth of your conversation with God. Not a formula. A relationship.
Blessed are the poor in spirit. Blessed are the meek. The Beatitudes aren't a checklist — they're a portrait of the person you're becoming. Ascent helps you understand each Beatitude and slowly, intentionally orient your life toward it.
Pride. Greed. Wrath. Envy. Lust. Sloth. Gluttony. Ascent doesn't pretend these aren't real — or that the journey toward holiness doesn't run directly through them. It gives you an honest, structured way to name them, fight them, and replace them with virtue.
The Heart of It
"Every person is called to holiness. Not just priests and religious. Not just the extraordinarily devout. Everyone. Ascent was built on that conviction — and for the person who has heard that call and wants to answer it."
— Todd Lemieux, Founder
Ascent is launching to the App Store. Early access and partnership inquiries are welcome — particularly from faith-formation organizations, parishes, and prayer communities.
